Hi All....I was speaking to Jerry tonight about a new customer service concept I am planning to implement by the summer....LOANER BUSSE COMBAT KNIVES!!!

If a customer of mine has a knife on order and a special set of circumstances requiring their knife, like a wilderness excursion, scheduled military operation, or planned hunting trip...and I do not have their order ready to ship...I plan on having a specific number of knives in a LOANER FLEET available for situations calling for EXTREME SERVICE!!!

The model you need might not always be available, but if I have one available in the fleet and you need it, YOU GOT IT.

Each knife will be etched with "BUSSE COMBAT LOANER", so it would definitley not be a knife one would want to "own"

PS...this is at NO extra charge to your existing order, and the only requirement is that you have a knife on order with me.

The LOANER knives can be USED HARD, with no regrets.

BTW, I am still working out the return policy details, but they will be reasonably simple.

Andy, I think that's a fan-freaking-tastic idea! I know for myself that I was putting off any serious camping/hiking until I got my BM-E. Now in my neck of the woods I wouldn't be going camping until late June or July anyway, but to know there was a loaner if I needed it would be great. Way to go Andy!

Andy, fantastic idea!! I would probably use it if you had it available... esp if i needed a smaller model while my BM -e was on the way. I asked at Venturers, no knives over 6 inch blade. So i gotta have them all!!! Mwoahahahha

(if anyone is worried about my chain of logic, you probably should be.)

Andy, this is a good idea. Funny thing about a customer service reputation...you may never *need* the service, but you know it is always there, and it sells product.

Not to stick my nose where it does not belong, but free consulting tip to Jerry...think hard about working a deal where you continue to build these nuclear blasters and push the whole marketing / selling job to Andy. From Busse shop to Prisco to any of the many dealers. The key to business is doing what you do best, and delegating to others what they do best. Some businesses never grow to the point where this luxury can be enjoyed. It works though.

I have said it before, will repeat it again: Never, ever have I had a question on a Busse knife that Andy did not return my call or email within hours WITH the answer. This is the kind of stuff that takes business to its next level. Okay, off the podium now

Great idea. Now if you could figure a way to do trial samples....

What I mean is, I couldn't make up my mind on which to buy first, MS, SH, BA, BM but I was lucky enough to find a Blade Forum member close by that a few, so I could. Not being able to handle one, I would have ordered the SH first. It would have been to big for my first Busse, now I'm going to get a MS or 4" then the SH. GO ANDY!!

Andy your the MAN! This is another reason that I can without hesitation and with great confidence refer anyone to Andy Prisco and Sharper Instinct.
BTW Andy I really Like your current name but when enough people get the Andy Prisco name recognition it will be in the same context as Trump Towers or the likes.
