You're absolutley right. Some lint will only smolder and it attarcts humidity really fast.

Yes I am hoping to go back and do 2 things :
1. PSK Fishing(I seen carp,catfish,bass,blue gills)
2. Look for signs of a mountain lion / Cougar ?
Local police have reports of a Mtn. Lion carrying off dogs/cats & Goats and Calves ?
pics caught on Game Camera of one in the area where I was ... maybe reason no one was on trail... :D Less than 5 miles from my house

man that sounds like a blast....I took this pic a couple of months back about 20 yards from one of my deer blinds...that is my size 12 boot heel next to it for sizing reference......

Looks like you had a good time out there. I am going to need to pic up the Lite Machete after the Junglas arrives now..

As far as the dryer lint goes, the lint I get always feels the exact same as cotton balls, just a different color. Takes a spark as easily, too. Although It falls apart a lot easier, which is why I don't use it a lot.
 
I went to use & Focus on the Junglas for the most part and I just could not stop using the Lite machete.... I was impressed to say the least.... Great Tool and the addition of the Micarta handle was just the simple touch the machete needed.
 
Junglas may be over kill for the Lion, TTD will probably use an Izula, and post pics of wearing the cat as trophy while roasting meat on the fire, and we wont hear or have signs from him for weeks until hes captured and gets on the news for saving community from wild cat, while succumbing to his primal self. lol.

JK TTD, don't kill me with the junglas :)

Those are some great pics of a really good day Tony! Looks like you had a blast with the Lite, Junglas, and RTAK, hell how could you not?! That area you were in is just like an area where I live that has a main river with plenty of growth and creatures crawling around. Great thread Tony!

Thanks , even though I was only out & about for 2 hours I had fun ; what made it better was no one else was around :thumbup:
 
Great shots! Looks like a great zone to get away.
The AH-1 intrigues me. I must get a couple. It looks like it can be a versatile tool. Spear, firestriker,can opener, last-ditch weapon, etc.
Always wanted to go to Texas !
 
The AH-1 is a very versatile tool, just takes Imagination and a little knowledge.
On my little excursion I only used it as a fire steel striker . I ordered a pair of AH-1's and placed one in my PSK Fishing kit for a gig I've always wanted/needed . The other with be attached to my firekit
