I guess the debate over what's traditional and what's modern has just gotten kinda tedious for me. As I've said before, I'm well into Medicare age so I'm officially a relic of the past...a dinosaur and generally pretty proud of the fact. I grew up with low-priced slipjoint pocket knives and $1.00 Imperial fixed blades with bakelite handles. Today, I might carry a $120 bone handled stockman one day and a $175 single blade locking folder the next. That single blade knife will likely have a hole or a stud on the blade. I love 'em all and the only label I put on them is "knife".
