Fair warning, Beckers tend to multiply and you will likely end up with more. Take a look at the BK11, same blade shape but with a bottle opener, and comfy micarta slabs are available.
The BK14 is a nice little fixed blade. There have even been some nice looking mods done to them.
Take a swing over to the Becker subforum and see what's going on with the other Becker owners, they are a good bunch of folks.

It's a Buck, what do you expect?
Buck stopped being a good knife IMO about 20 years ago. I have had 2 Buck 110's with crappy lockup and blade play. I will never buy another.
