Lock sticking badly on 0551. UPDATE: pg. 1

Roll tide!

The 0551 finally smoothed up, so hopefully my luck is turning around. :)

It's awesome. I tightened both of mine up, and after cycling the one I carry a few hundred times it has smoothed up like crazy. It's possibly the smoothest most fluid folder I have.

Still have next to me what I had on me today . Hey, why not pics of the 0551 don't get old.

Hey can you let me know how you tightened it up? Mine's pretty bad, takes two hands to open.

I just took two torx 10 bits and tightened the whole knife down. You think its already tight but on both of my knives the screws holding it together were relatively loose.

Tighten it up, put sharpie on the tang and keep working it. The first 2 days I'd have to reapply the sharpie literally every opening. But have faith, it WILL get better - it just takes time. I hope this helps.
