Not to bash Emerson, but we all know they'd never hold up to that kind of abuse. It's the design of the liner lock. Theyre just not meant to support that kind of weight or shock. Personally I'd like to see the Paramilitary 2 put through its paces against the Code 4.You guys should do some tests against Emerson liner locks and show the results![]()

I would bet that the Spyderco Military could handle more than just about any other liner lock made. That is one of the only liner locks that is done right. I would bet that most Emerson knives would have the liner slipping off of the lock face.
I was thinking the manix would of handle more weight
Thank you cold steel
Please test the buck marksman or maybe a buck 110 I'd love to see that

Would love to see some Emerson's and Microtechs up on the chopping block. Possibly some button locks or even front-opening autos too. I bet there are a few button locks that could give the Triad a run for its money.
Id be very surprised if a button lock could do very well. Sure would like to see though.
I don't think any lock can beat the triad or even come very close. Still would like to know how much a pocket bushman and the ram lock deal can take. Wonder if it could hold its own with the triad?
