Does anyone know a good step by step for lockbacks?
There's a ton of great online WIPs for linerlocks and slipjoints, but my Googling got me nothing on back locks.
I made my way through one using Jerry Fisk's "Old Thorny" page and it came out pretty good, but I'm sure there's a lot more to making these, it would be great to have some more "been there done that" advice.
Is there a book or pamphlet out there that walks you through best practices?
Thanks for any leads!

Pick up a LoneStar Lockback kit from knifekits.com to see how they go together. They are actually quite simple to build once you get a pattern.

How to make folding knives, a step by step how to. by Ron Lake , Frank Centofante and Wane Clay. That should just about cover everything you need to know. I especially like Ron Lakes explanation of the designe principles but I take bits and pieces from each maker.

Like most knife makers I'm not averse to re-inventing the wheel now and then, but in this case it seems there are a lot of little things that would make it smoother and better.
Thanks for the pointer, I'll keep an eye out for that book!
