Lockbar inserts...improvement or potential problems?

(I've used and abused CRK's for years and have never developed any lock rock, in fact the lock up hasn't changed on any of them) I wonder what CR's take on these inserts is ? he doesn't seem to be using them so are they really needed ?Then again with tolerances like his,thats probably why he doesn't need them.
