If this has been covered before, please forgive/redirect me to the appropriate page. I know a good amount about knife making (I just don't know how to make a locking mechanism), so if someone could help me out a bit, I'd appreciate it. Which of the locking systems would be the easiest for a lock-noob to make? I'm thinking it's a frame or liner lock, but I'm not sure. I've heard you need to heat treat a liner/ framelock, is this true? Also, if anyone has a link to a thread/video/website on lock making, please share. Thanks!
