Anyone been to Logan, West Virginia? I'm headed that way for a couple of days (work related) and just wanted a heads-up on restaurants, nearby parks, etc.

Found a park very close to town that offers some nice hiking opportunities.

Your basically going to hell. Not much there. I've been there a couple times and couldn't wait to get out of there. Hope you like curvy roads. lol

So far I'm loving the scenery - misty and cloudy mountains covered in dense green vegetation. The historic architecture in some of the small valley towns is fascinating. It's especially interesting to see the various solutions to the problem of no flat building sites.

The curving roads are hell while driving a pickup and cargo trailer; the trailer barely fits between the painted lines. But I'd freakin' love to come back with the convertible for some 'spirited' driving.

Lots of poison ivy...
