How does someone go through the process of getting that done?

I have a logo in mind...

or wouldnt even mind if i could put my last name in cursive on there..

just looking for a lead on where to go.

Draw up your design, get Harry Evers email after calling them and then email it to them. That is how I got my brother to buy mine (both name and symbol on 2 stamps). Then get out your wallet......

I just bought a etching machine all i need is the printer an im set.It cost me 100 bucks for a etch omatic lots of guys use the etch omatic.

My most recent hand stamps were made by Buckeye.....same
quality as Evers, at around half the price.

That is a link to an article I wrote concerning marking your knives. I highly encourage you to carefully consider your "mark" before having a stamp created.

Personally I have an etcher on order, not a stamp. Regardless, Ed's advice on designing your logo is very sound. Lots of other good info on his site, as well. Oh yeah, he makes sweet knives, too. :D

seems like etching is the way to go, but how would i get my mark the same every time?

Id really like my last name spelled out in cursive, which is shaw..
