For sale is a Lon Humphrey Muley in Ash Burl. This is a gorgeous knife, I was awaiting the drop of these on the KSF site, so I pretty well snatched this one of the front page as soon as it dropped, it has the most gorgeous green burl handles I have seen. So I think it is safe to say, finding a handle this gorgeous is a rare feat.
This knife has been used and carried, it had developed a patina, but I recently rubbed it out with a paper towel and some fitz...No dremel was used. The blade has some fine use scratches that were genuinely hard to catch on camera, but they are there, and you can see them in person. They are nothing serious at all, and will pretty well disappear after someone puts the knife to good use and gets a bit of patina back on it.
The knife came with a leather sheath that had a leather strap that was supposed to basically fold over the handle and into a little leather slip on the front of the sheath, but this was too tight and did not actually work due to the thickness of the leather...So I trimmed that leather so it goes just as high as the handle of the knife when in the sheath. Also, I made alot friendlier leather sheath that I had setup as a right hand inside belt carry. The sheath is a bit rough as it was kinda of a prototype and I planned on making another, but I simply never got around to it, and the prototype did the job. Anyway, I'll include this sheath with the purchase, as I have no use for it, and it really makes carrying this knife that much easier, just know it is not "perfection".
Included is the knife, 2 sheaths, and original box.
