Lone Wolf Bob Loveless City Pocket Knife

Particulary sweet was the Brian Tighe - I'd be damned if that knife did not open, feel and sound like a custom knife. Very well executed.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have the Lone Wolf version and handled the custom at the ECCKS last month. Almost impossible to tell the difference. I heard from a major dealer at the show that it cost so much to hand finish the Lone Wolf versions that the company was actually losing money on each piece it sold. I hope these are just "start up" problems and that this company succeeds in it's mission. ;)

You beat me to it Jazzman. I had a City Knife for a day or two and it is a slipjoint. I exchanged it because although it is very well made, I felt that the backspring was way too weak to make a good user. Don't take this as knock on Lone Wolf as a company. I have seen several of their knives and I own a Tighe Tac, they are easily the equal of folks like William Henry and Chris Reeve when it comes to overall high quality.

cutfinger,
Have you ever gone to Grand Prarie over in Troy Il? Hell of a store..nice guys....Wait a minute...you are Anthony! I know you've been there...why the name change?
Matt

I've never seen one, but if its a slip joint why doesn't the backspring show then the knife is halfway open? The nailnick doesn't make sense either. That picture sucks! ;)

Jazzman, Cut Finger is I sign in on when I'm at work. I'l be posting under my own name again when I'm at home.
