In case any of you have wondered how good is L.W. customer service?
I received my Val-matic back today (Aug 15) I had sent it in Aug 4 because of tarnish on the blade. It was a new knife, and had never been used just left in the box after I got it at the blade show. I had emailed them with my concern. The return email was very polite, and basically said "not a problem, to just return it, and they would put a new blade on it.
That is excellent customer service in any one's book, to go along with an excellent product.
The Val-Matic (Vallotton design) is a well made knife.
Smooth D/A, blade centered, beefy liners, tight lockup, and well finished G-10 scales. I wanted one for a long time, and am not disappointed in the least.
Their Customer Service is tops against all others I have ever dealt with.
That's my 2 cents for what it's worth. Herbieduke
