Just arrived today from our friendly neighborhood pharmacy, New Graham Knives, thanks again gang!

Fit and finish are very nice, stainless bolsters are integral with the scales
you can just see the bronze washers inside for the pivot.
As others have pointed out, the bolt area for the pivot pin are a bit deeper
than needs be and could be a lint/dirt catcher, but time will tell.
The snakewood is very nice, great character as is common with that wood.
The blade, love the blade shape, very useful, while some consider the handle
to blade to be off, I like a shorter blade like this when the tip is lower, better
to control and use, and the handle provides plenty of room to grip in a number
of ways. There are also grooves on the bottom edge of the bolsters, some
mentioned that it was for a thumb purchase while peeling an apple type of hold.
It also adds a minimal amount of traction before landing on the edge.

The 2.6" blade, haven't cut a lot with it yet, others commented that it holds
up well, I did sharpen it, as not many arrive with the edge I like ;) and it sharpened
well and felt fairly high hardness to the steel. She be sharp now!
Blade also has a half stop, works well.

Comes with a nice tin box as well. Will need to make a small sheath to carry
on the belt, not a prob.

Here is a shot taken tonight,

nice catch Gary.... i like the snakewood's appearance...great photos (as always) ....
a little off topic, but have you ever had a snakewood handled knife develop cracks and such.... I recall reading threads how snakewood is vulnerable to "brittleness".... ?

I really like that model, especially in the snakewood. Hope you'll let us see the sheath you come up with for it.

Thanks, will do, it'll be this weekend as the day job has me tied up til late.

and thanks Jaislandboy, not sure on the brittleness of the snakewood, hope it holds
up well, it looks better than the images, those were quickly taken, when I
can get some time, I'll get some others done up.

Great knife and pics.

I have the same model with green micarta and red spacers. It's my EDC and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks guys, looks like it was the last one NGK's had on hand, I don't show it
on Lone Wolf's web site any more, wonder if it's not being carried anylonger?

Hey Gary, I'm the guy trying to send you e-mail about a Buck 110 sheath. Both of my e-mails were corrupted somehow. Any other way of contacting you?

Strange that...I don't have rights to use the PM here since my Gold Membership
ran out, if they took Amex I'd sign back up asap, but other wise I have
to mail in some funds.

Hmm otherwise you can post your question here I suppose?
do you get my emails back?

Very handsome knife, I especially like the bolsters. IMO recessing the pivot pin like that adds to the aesthetics and matches the recess of the handle screws.

Gary, I'll start a thread on the Buck Forum. I'll call it "Graley 110 Sheaths?"

I agree, it doesn't take away from it's use either, used her a bit today
very nice as you can see from the one image, the edge is ground down
nice and thin, also, there is no notch before the edge, nothing for material
to 'catch' on or hangup on, cuts very well.

Here are a couple shots taken tonight after the sheath was finished up, the knife works
well in the vertical style sheath, will be a good day tomorrow at work :)
My wife has since 'hidden' my light box, will need to find that soon! so pardon the images
but you get the idea;

Thanks, the knife was one I sort of always liked the looks of, but was afraid to
order without actually handling it, I've seen too many knives that looked nice
but the blades were not ground thin enough to suit me, this one is a dandy, very
glad to have chatted with John Wylie on aol the other night when he assured me
that these were good slicers, and they are!

Forgive my ignorance... but whose makes that beautiful sheath???

Edit: Just found the answer.

love my city knife the thinness of the blade along with that blade shape lets you do some very fine work and it holds that edge very well
