Anyone have experience with the Harsey T2 or any of the other knives in the series. What do you think of them? What are folks thoughts on the Lonewolf knives in general. I am thinking of getting one of the T2 for a decent EDC. They seem fairly rugged and from what I have seen the build quality seems good, but I have never used one. So help me out guys. Give me your opinions.

I owned one but never used it. I really liked it and regret not giving it some firld time. Everyone I have seen has been great F&F wise. There were some issues with the Cocobolo ones a while back that IIRC caused New Graham to stop selling them, but the ones I saw were flawless.

S30V and PB washers, what's not to like? :D

They are great knives, and might I suggest the versions with the hidden auto. Excellent grip and a great size blade. Email me if you are interested in the hidden auto version and I can give you the number to a well known seller who practically gives them away. Not literally of course, but he sells them at only $10-$20 over what he pays for them. His are cheaper than the bay and he ships same day.

I have one and have been using it pretty good for a just over a month or so. I love it. It's very grippy the handle notchings are very well placed and the thing cuts like a scalpel. The factory edge is very, very good and I have not have had the need to resharpen it. The action is very smooth and it locks up great. It's pretty big for a folder, but I have been EDC'ing it most everyday for a while now and love the way it rides in my slacks. The pocket clip is very wide and strong. I would not hesitate to get another if something were to happen to this one.

cool...thanks guys. No one has chimed in with negative information so I guess it's a go for myself to purchase a harsey.

I have one w/ the black (rubber type) handles and I love it. It plays 2nd fiddle to a ZT 0300 right now, but is probably one of my favorite knives, I like how ist slim, light and grippy. It cuts nice and sharpens decent. You wont be dissapointed.

I just pushed the button on one, due to arrive any time now.... will post up a review

I've got my eye on one too.

I have a T1 and I like it alot. That's why I'm thinking of getting its big brother, the T2.

After handling mine for a couple of hours this afternoon, I can attest to Sharp Phil's concise review.

the knife is an absolute beast. smooth, and surprisingly it hides in the pocket ok.... (its still a massive knife for edc though)

Well, mine's on the way! :D

I have several Lone Wolf knives, and I've been really pleased with all of them. I doubt the T2 will disappoint.

Thanks guys.

Mine came today! Overnite UPS ground no less.

I got the T2 Tactical blade, plain edge with gren and black micarta scales. Based on the T1 I have, I thought it would be thicker, but it's a very slender knife. It looks great and came sharp. It was very dry, and I lubed the pivot. Also, like my T1, the liner lock did not engage when opened just with the thumb stud, but worked fine when you flick the blade part way. After playing with the knife a few minutes, it seems like it's gonna be just fine.

This is a really nice sized kife for my hands, I think a T3 would be almost too large for me, just like my BM 610.

Even with the slight linerlock issue, I would recommend this brand to anyone.

I come to this topic a bit late, but had to chime in...

I've had one of these since 2005 as an EDC no less, so I can offer some long-term opinion. Mine has the french walnut handle scales, not sure if you can even get this option anymore...

Overall the knife is super. I wouldn't cary something this long if it wasn't. At first, I thought it was too big for EDC, but it carries just fine (it's slim, like others have mentioned), and I found I like the length. The blade does not stain and takes a good edge. Cardboard cringes at the sight of this blade. The grind goes all the way to the top, which is nice for cutting.

Speaking of carry, this is how I like to place the T2 in my front pants pocket.. I soon took off the factory clip. Never liked these much on any knife: they say I'm carrying a knife, look, here it is...

I think ALL knives need a laynyard hole, and the T2 has one. I attached some para cord to this. This cord loop goes to a small clip attached to a small chain, that's attached to a leather loop that snaps to my belt-- Everyone thinks it's my key chain. But if you measure things out, the knife sits nice and vertical and totally hidden in your front pants pocket. It can be accesed quickly; some operations can even be done w/out even unhooking the knife.

But back to the knife...

It is very rugged and built to last. Even the finish on the wood is still nice and thick after nearly 4 years of riding in my pocket. By the way, the only thing put in this pocket is the knife.

The open handle desigh (there is no back to it, you can see right through) is something I'm not crazy about. And this is partly why I don't keep anything else in that pocket. Coins can get in to the edge of the blade. But being open, it is easy to clean the pocket lint out of there.

The handle is shaped very well. The liner lock mechanism is solid and easy to operate after 3+ years of EDC. But the blade does not have a lot of "spring" to it, either to open or hold it closed. This has been an issue; it doesn't always like to stay closed in the pocket... it's never opened and cut me, but a few times I've pulled it out of my pocket (by grabbing on to my chain set-up), only to find it opening on its way out!

Solid knife. Lone Wolf makes good stuff... I'll own this one for years to come.

Two suggestions:

tighter spring

leather sheath
