Most of the time I do bird and trout knives with a 2.75 to 3.25 inch blade, and the 3.25 feels long for a lot of the classic trout and dove type stuff. But once in a while you find someone wants a bit more. So here is one, in 15N20 steel, .090 thick, slight distal taper. Finish is 800 grit hand rubbed and then buffed. Blade length is 3.75, scandi grind.
Long handle, 4.25, with thick well rounded cocobolo scales. Brass pins and lanyard tube. Very narrow knife, OAL is 8 inches, breadth is .75
It's a long, sleek, elegant little knife.
Sheath is "lightweight" 8 ounce leather, fully formed and double needle hand stitched.
Sold!
