Hi Folks,

Just finished this hunting knife for a customer. Specs are as follows:

4 5/8" cold blued 1095 blade with extra long clip

10" oal nickel silver guard, butt cap, pommel nut w/thong hole and a single domed 1/16" nickel silver pin

Cold blued mild steel spacer behind guard

Handle is African Rosewood supplied by the customer with Minwax Ebony stain and tung oil finish

Very nice blade.
Can you explain the pommel nut ? It looks too long, especially since the knife isn't a take down style.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Stacy, the pommel nut was made longer to allow a braided Turks head to be fitted through the thong hole. My father-in-law is going to make it when he makes the sheath. Perhaps I should have made it a bit smaller....something I'll have to work on with my next blade.
