Long, Hard day & a Cutting Bowie for Tannehill

Are those hollow pins? I was wondering if you did that so you could employ a forward-lanyard as some of the recent comp. cutters are doing to make it a bit more safe in the event the knife slips out of your hand.

thanks all, the hollow tubing is for use of lanyard in any of the 3 positions, nothing new though Brend and some of the other combat knife makers have been doing it for 25+ years.

I like the lanyard to the rear with a real tight connection to the wrist, can get a bit of pivot that way.

Matt,

Very good beard, great knife!:thumbup:

I can see that I am going to have to ambush you early Wednesday in Atlanta, to have any chance to buy one of your knives.

hey Matt...great to see your mug...you actually look like someone i know. awesome knife, man...keep making them.

Eh......looks like the cutting comp is off for this evening. Everyone fled the scene due to VERY bad weather about 3 pm. It is supposed to be much nicer the next two days.

Hi Joe, I thought the cutting was Saturday? Yeah weather was real bad here, I didnt even drive down as there were Tornado sirens going off etc... Got caught in one last week while driving, dont want that to happen again.
