  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Long way to go...

Mountain Billy, once I can get my profile pic up I think you will like it much!!!!!!!! And yes as a lifelong Cubs fan (almost 43 years now) I can take the heat!

Davy

I'm a lifelong Cardinals fan. I've only been to Wrigley once and loved it. In the subdivision I lived in in the late fifties (800 sf slab homes with carports) Kenny Boyer lived a few doors down and Wally Moon lived around the corner.

That's fantastic Mountain, great names right there. I'm not even from Chicago, I grew up in FL (Daytona) and the Cubs have a single A team there that I grew up watching play at Jackie Robinson Field, also known as "The Jack". =)

No I have dabbled in K-Bar/Becker a little. One of my favs is the BK11, but I've gifted like 5 away so right now I have none! And since it came out I have EDC'd a small TDi LE weak side. But I've collected all the LE's, large an small, and all colors because I think they so cool!

Davy

Haha! Love your edit! Welcome aboard!

Welcome to our little corner of the asylum! Going to need a BK2, and a BK9. Also probably a BK5, and eventually a BK7, but probably after you get a BK14. Oh and at least all of the Tweeners (15-17). Enjoy your stay, and watch as your wallet goes on a diet!

Welcome to the forums, I think you will have a great time here. There are some great guys on here, congratz on the BK4, can't wait to order a production model when they are available.

Update on one of my gifted BK11's, took a few runs today (skiing) before I came into work. I stopped by one of the warming huts (although very unessecary today), and there was one of the gifted neckers being used to cut up a Totinos pizza by the person I gifted it to about 3-4 months ago. Nice to see it being put to such use! =)

Dude, welcome bro! I LOVE the "profile pic" ! You ought to get a 14 and KEEP IT! I love mine! I love my 9 more!

Being as from Chicago, I gotta welcome a fellow Cub fan. ;)

The 3 is all kinds of wicked IMHO. I got a Cami version and I love it. It is a very specific use tool though. It isn't an EDC type thing. I keep it in my car for if/when I'll ever need it.

The 10... mmmmmmmmmmmm. That's all I can say on that.

And yes, love the avatar too. LOL! We can't help it if we are cursed!

Moose I love to switch knives out. I carry a murse  and always have a FB molle'd to the side. Here's what I rotate there: ESEE 4 cp, Syderco Moran, Spyderco Schempp Rock (not as often due to sheeple), Gryphon M10, 3 Spydie MT's, this crazy knife I have no clue what it is except its stamped "KAYO" on the tang, and, please don't flame me, I hate to even mention it due to how sore a subject it can be, but right now I have a SCHF1 on there I'm beating up atm...... So I think a 2 gonna look really good on there!

I'm pulling down a ZT0303, Hogue EX01, and a couple of BKT's in the bag, BK9, BK16, and either a 10 or 2.

Oh, my SAK Rucksack, lockpicks, and a Fenix PD20. Bic, smokes, 2 sets of key, a Blackberry, Android, 2 wallets, headphones, an inhaler.

Wilderness belt holding them up.

Heh.

Didn't get asthma until I quit smoking for a few years.

Eh, it is what it is.

Moose

All night asthma attacks taught me how to relax under stress. I had them since I was a kid; really scared the fertilizer out of my wife though. Fortunately I haven't had one in years.
