Longestlasting AA batts?

I have also tested AA alkalines and have found less than a 10% difference in capacity. Thus I tend to buy on price. I personally have had good luck with Kirkland brand AA's from Costco (about 25 cents per cell). Spud

I use rechargeables, but I only have 6 of 'em, so today I bought a huge pack of Costco AAs for $10 to just outfit everything for a while. I am not sure how well they will do, but they were super cheap so I am gonna try 'em out...

As far as I know the Duracell Coppertops are the Best because Consumer Reports did a test of these on everyday items. It was concluded that this was the Brand that out preformed the competition,in all sizes but one.
Don't remember which one because it was a few years ago

In mini mags I use the Energiser Titaniums, alternatively for general use Duracell. I have one mini-mag converted to take a 3vstarlite? bulb for lithium 3v batteries.

Kodak used to make some kick ass batteries, called Ultralife's IIRC. they kicked ass, and were cheap. I think they were actually made by Harris RF, but I could be wrong. They stopped making Ultralife branded batteries a few years ago. A web search shows that they still market batteries useing the kodak name. I Have no experience with those though.
