Well, I have been really on a BUSSE kick lately...I started with the choppers..I first purchased a CG Fusion Battle Mistress..it is simply the Best all around chopper that I have ever owned. I moved up to the FAT FBM and it is a BEAST!!! I was impressed with both of these so much that I purchased an ASH-1...I like a 6" blade for Survival, and this one looked good, I was right.
Well, after the big boys I thought, what about thier little guys...I just traded into a GAmewarden..I was worried about the blade thickness, as Hollowdweller had stated that this was a problem. Mine is NOT thick at all, in fact its perfect...I put it next to one of my Auroras, a known Slicer and Cutter here so you guys could compare. I love this little guy so much...I think I need a couple more!!! Well, here it is, I just have to warn you, the BUSSE's can be addictive. I know many of you guys don't think alot of the BIG knives..i think that you should give the thin GW a look...its an instant favorite of mine. Gene

Well you have been awfully quiet lately... then BAM! Nice stuff  Those thinner Wardens are cool.

Yeah..I have been doing some reinventing of the collection...I have what I think are great users...and anything that I am not going to use, has to go. Don't get me wrong, I am still a knife fanatic...I just have to have a good reason to keep a knife now.....If I remember, T, you did the same not to long ago. I don't mind having 20-30 knives to fill 1 need, I just want to, want to bring them all...if one doesnt get my blood going, then I am going to trade it in and get another.
As for not chiming in lately...I have been a friggin zombie from working myself to death...I am framing some architectual nightmare new house and it is killing me. That and the family...means I don't have to much time or energy. I am planning on TRYING to go to the next camp out in Conn. I really want to go and meet some of you guys.....common interests and all that jazz.

Nice score! I went on a bit of an infi splurge myself, the stuff is like crack for knife fiends.

Yep I know exactly what you mean. Certain knives I really like but just don't use, so usually end up trading or selling them.

Nice pic and a great new knife GKN. I have the Aurora so the first shot tells me all I need to know about the Gamewarden. I like the Busses is all respects other than price. If I got addicted, well, you could visit me in the poor house. Someday though.

If Jerry ever comes out with his Bussmuk, I might have to pop the Busse cherry.

I've got to restrain myself until that comes out. One of the bussmuk's (cant remember if it's the mini or full sized) is going to have a much more usable design for bushcraft.
I'm really not too big on some of the designs of the smaller ones, with the large guard/"talon hole" and these useless choils that are big, but not big enough for a finger. I'd much prefer an extra centimeter of edge than... well... what ever it is I'm supposedly getting by sacrificing that valuable edge real estate. And I'm not too keen on grinding away any infi, that stuff aint cheap!

Nice pic and a great new knife GNN. I have the Aurora so the first shot tells me all I need to know about the Gamewarden. I like the Busses is all respects other than price. If I got addicted, well, you could visit me in the poor house. Someday though.

Yup, they aint cheap, thats for sure..basically, many moons ago...I had alot of knives...I mean alot, and a fairly HUGE gun collection...I just kept going to the knives and started selling 3-4 to buy one...and then I knew I had a real problem when I sold all my guns to buy knives!!! I really should change my name here, since I basically don't own very many guns anylonger, but everyone knows me, so I guess I will keep it!!! Besides, I have no idea what I would call myself...I could actually answer to GKN if someone called it out in a croud!!LOL!!

I see something more to the BUSSE line now than in time gone by...I can honestly say that they are tough and reliable...something that I look for in a blade. Now with this GW..I can say that they are practical. I have spent much more than I did on this GW to get a REAL Bushcraft blade...I bet this little knife will cut anything I push it against. The big Choppers a pretty nice to handle too. I have some great sheaths on order (CHuddyBear), and hope to have them by the Camp out.

Those are awesome, I'm jealous of your aurora too.

I know what you mean about trying to keep out anything except users, hard to do but worthwhile. No safe queens!!!

Nice toys. I wondered about there thickness. I like the game warden, but for the price Id rather have some of the Gossman PSK knives. Differant knives I know, but I would use them for the same thing I think. Very nice though, looks great in orange too!

...and then I knew I had a real problem when I sold all my guns to buy knives!!!

That's a serious problem you got there......
Get better soon,
ilten

Nice knives! How do you like the size (length) of the warden? I've got a couple, but they almost seem too short, I find myself using my active duty more and more. I guess it's what you use it for, though...

I'm still trying to decide whether to keep or trade/sell. They are very nice knives, that's for sure!

I'm still dreaming about the Bussmuk!!!! :D
