I got my Blade mag. and saw Dave got the back page with his "Cratchet" knife (hope I spelled that right). Way to go Dave! I remember the first one and they just get better and better. Way to go Bud!

One day I came back to my desk at work and there was phonemail from Steve Shackleford. Throat dry, I called him back. When that was over I stood up, knees weak, and told my boss what had just happened. Then I collapsed. Wasn't worth spit the rest of the day. Whew!
It's always great to see our fellows in the magazines. I run up to Jeanie, "Hey, lookit this, I know that guy!" Congratulations to Don and Bruce & his brother Robert too!

Way to go, Dave! You guys are the best, for sure! Good things come to those who wait, especially great knife makers such as you fellas that are illustrated on our knife publications. When you meet Dave and his family, you will understand how and why he does such great knife work. His horse sized dog even has the big guy's temperment, too.

The pix are worth buying a copy. I think I'm gonna cut out both Dave and Don's knife pix and put them on the wall of my shop for insipration...if Tess will let me. Our second ever ad is in that one and she's still saving everything we're in. Even if we're paying for it.
