I got my Blade mag. and saw Dave got the back page with his "Cratchet" knife (hope I spelled that right). Way to go Dave! I remember the first one and they just get better and better. Way to go Bud!

Love his work, just wish I could see more of it! :)
 
Dave is way too modest, he does excellent work and we see too little of it. Looking forward to seeing the issue!
 
....And let me not forget Don Hanson's beautiful folder on page 22 and Bruce Bump's brother mentions him in the "knife I carry" section.
 
It trips me out seeing you guys there...well deserved!

One day I came back to my desk at work and there was phonemail from Steve Shackleford. Throat dry, I called him back. When that was over I stood up, knees weak, and told my boss what had just happened. Then I collapsed. Wasn't worth spit the rest of the day. Whew!

It's always great to see our fellows in the magazines. I run up to Jeanie, "Hey, lookit this, I know that guy!" Congratulations to Don and Bruce & his brother Robert too!

You deserve it Dave, your works great. I especially like that style they pictured. Keep em' coming.
 
I just got my magazine in the mail yesterday -- when J. said you were in the mag, I expected a small little picture. You got a full page --- that's something for the ol' fridge!! :D :)

I get a kick out of seeing my knives in the mags so I know how you feel.

Way to go, Dave! You guys are the best, for sure! Good things come to those who wait, especially great knife makers such as you fellas that are illustrated on our knife publications. When you meet Dave and his family, you will understand how and why he does such great knife work. His horse sized dog even has the big guy's temperment, too.
 
You mean I got to buy a magazine to see the picture....... Good going, Dave! Maybe someday I'll get a subscription. I've about worn out the ones next to my throne.......

The pix are worth buying a copy. I think I'm gonna cut out both Dave and Don's knife pix and put them on the wall of my shop for insipration...if Tess will let me. Our second ever ad is in that one and she's still saving everything we're in. Even if we're paying for it. :confused:
May have to buy another copy. :D
