There is much discussion here on the forum about Emerson fit and finish. Is the F&F on the Benchmade Emersons considered to be higher than current Emerson production? Just a query don't mean to hijack the thread.
 
nice score.. i too peruse gun shows in hopes of a diamond in the rough... a special eye out for no knife in particular just looking for a 'steel' of a deal.. :)
 
Thomas, you got yourself a nice grail knife there. I think the price was fair considering the overall package.

The only "issue" with fit and finish on Emersons is liners that don't always quite line up with the handle scales, and as I remember the BM 97X knives do line up nicely.

I always wanted a Ti bladed one and this thread has got me looking again!
