Went to lunch and came back to find that Mr. UPS man had left me a little surprise. After I chiseled all the quickcrete away, this is what I found:
That's a Bark River Knife & Tool Mini Canadian. It's a sweet little knife. Sharp enough to shave with and it fits in my medium-sized hands just right. I think it'll be a good little go-to knife for fine work.
I must admit that I'm not a big fan of the sheath that came with it, but one of the reasons why I got this knife was so I would have an excuse to play with kydex. My intention is to try and make it into a neck knife. Barring that, I want to make a kydex sheath that hangs the knife lower on my belt, so that the handle doesn't poke into my love handles so much.
Barring that, I'll just get someone to make me a sheath.
Can't wait to find an excuse to give it a whirl out in the woods, someday, when I can get back to the woods....
