I found this at a flea market a few days ago. It's one of the originals made in Germany from I do believe the late 80's early 90's. Kershaw Military Boot Knife in minty condition. Was kinda excited when I saw it. It was one of those items where your insides are turning with anticipation but have to play it cool in front of the seller. The price was right! Paid $40

Would like some advice too. A guy wants to trade me an old Norlund tomahawk 24" axe that is in good shape for the Kershaw. I love some old axes! Don't know what to do. What would you do? Thanks guys and gals

Good find! I used to have one and loved it!! Possibly the thinnest/slimmest tipped boot knife Ive ever owned.

Well I didn't go with the trade. Several of you are correct in axe's are easy to come by. Now I just have to muster up the courage to carry it! I have a nice US Gerber boot that I carry daily in my boot. This Kershaw is a little bigger though.

I carried it for the first time today. Might just have to put it back in the safe for a while now :)

Smart move in keeping it. One night it might just prove to be your best friend. A lot more so than the axe.
