Freakin' cool! It's a Brian Andrews 'Original' of course. I'll snap some pics of my own when it arrives and plenty of thoughts/comparisons. I'm very excited about this one! One of his modded axes is coming along with it. :D :D

Just wanted to tease you guys..

That looks like a near perfect scandi-grind designed blade! I like those blue liners. It could be the angle of the pic, but the green scales looks like it blends a little green to the liners...or vice versa.

I'm curious about the specs. Also, is the scandi ground to zero?

That knife is a babe.

Good score Spooky

That is VERY nice - I think, though, that the grind should be steeper - I think the thin blade may leave a weak blade because of the angle.

However, I may be wrong - what is the grind angle on this?

If the blade is strong - that knife is HOT.

YOU SUCK!!!! :D

Is he selling them yet? When you get it, please post more pics, in-hand shots, tell us how it cuts, ya know, the general stuff. Then send it here and I will love it properly. :D

I believe jealousy is one of the 7 deady sins. Since I'm not a sinner, I am not jealous. Envious yes, but not jealous. (Is lying one of the sins? I'm just curious that's all)

I'm guessing the steel is 1/8" or 5/32"...... and my tastes say the grind is perfect...for me ((( :D ))) How about some specs, Spooky?

Aw man, I have been eyeballing that knife on Brian's site.

Definately let us know what you think.

I am sure it will be excellent though!

It kinda looks like a cross between a Bark River Aurora and a Koster Bushcraft.

I'm digging it a lot. Is Brian planning on making more of these in the future?

suprisingly, his initial intention was to combine the koster, the aurora and the skookum. he did a great job.

I will try and answer some of the spec questions :D

This one is O1.

The scandi grind is a zero grind.

The angle is 11.5 degrees per side. Extremely sharp! Yet, it seems plenty of material for O1 to handle. I like my knife to be SHARP, because I like to use it to cut stuff. I have other tools for impacts and beatings, etc.

I have a 5/32" version that I back the grind off to 12.5 degrees per side, for the folks that like to be a bit rougher.

I have a couple more almost finished out. But I really just need to get grinding :D
