Lookie what I got!

I cut up some mesquite, quayacon and cat's claw today that I had gotten from the Del Rio, Texas area over a year ago. Here's a picture of some of the cat's claw. I was able to get a couple of "match books" like this.

That's some piece of wood CL, you stick some of that on one of those beautiful blades of yours and someone will get something special;)
 
Craig, that stuff is good looking, it's always been one of my favorites, plus it grows wild around here. Trouble is, you have to use carbide tipped chainsaw blades on it to slab it up, you ought to see the sparks fly from the minerals these trees soak up.
Guy, Catclaw is part of the Acacia family, looks like Mesquite on the outside but, the thorns are hooked claws like a cats hence.....well you get the idea.
