My three Schemps all had minor scratches on the bolsters that bugged the heck out of me soooo, I decided to fix the problem. Just got them back Saturday.

They were done by a gentleman named Bob Hawley at Windy Ridge Designs. His website is http://www.windyridgedesigns.com/knives.html. Bob's a great guy to deal with. His prices are fair and turnaround was very quick. To say that I am satisfied would be an understatement! :D

Very nice!! I have been thinking of doing that with one of my 75mm Persians. Thanks for the link I will have to look Mr. Hawley up and see if he can do some work for me.

Very cool, I love the look of those knives. Addes so much more to the coolness of them!

Thanks for all of the compliments on the knives. Bob is a very talented and gifted man. I highly recommend him for any engraving needs you may have. He is very congenial and easy to deal with and his work is second to none as far as I am concerned.

Those look very well done. I like that very much. The scratching problem is a PITA with those. I have one I bought new and somehow (?) it scratched on one of the bolsters. Now I have a knife that's new and unused, but I can't sell it as new due to the scratches on the bolsters that came from storage.

If they ever do a sprint run hopefully they will do something to keep those bolsters from scratching , or showing as much. Joe
