Lookin for a TRADITIONAL fixed blade to pair with my stockman or barlow

I'm a big fan of the Bark River Little Creek. I've had the PSK, a Bravo Micro, and another that escapes me at the moment. The only one I still have is the Little Creek.

Blade HQ just got in some Battle Horse knives(I think they are approved to mention please remove if not) that might suit you, they also have a build a knife option on their home page. I regularly carry either a Dozier or an L T Wright blade in my front pocket-'course I'm kinda big so my pockets may be a little bigger. Wayne "Duck"Childress puts up a new blade almost daily on the makers exchange. It's really worth your time to scout that out-Hardedge knives has two up now in s35vn for less than $75 IIRC. Good luck

Does he do it in d2 all always wanted to try it

Definitely look at Hess Knives. 1095 carbon steel blades made by GEC and custom-level finishing all for well under $100. I have a stacked leather Tiburon and it's absolutely fantastic. One of my best finished knives. The sheath is great too.

Here is a comparison of LT Wright's Patriot and Coyote with Desert Ironwood; both sweet knives:

Here's a quick pic of some of mine. Might give you some ideas. The longest is 6 3/4".
Left to right, Burt Foster, Don Cowles x2, Jerry Halfrich, Eldon Talley, Bud Nealy, Randy Lee and a Japanese made Explorer.

Your pictures are the reason, why i was falling in love with LT Wright Knives! 😀
They are so awesome - the knives and your pictures...

Best regards

Tyler- if you're asking about Childress he doesn't take orders , but posts knives in a2,d2,ats-34,440c,154cm and cpm-154,IIRC. Bob Dozier is called the Dr. of d2...so yeah. His heat treat of d2 just cannot be compared to anyone else, his knives take an edge and hold it and hold it. L.T. Wright makes them in a2,d2,1095, aeb-l, and cpm-3v currently.Battle horse knives has a build-a-knife option on their website where you can pick what you want regarding steel. Bark rivers are great , lotsa styles and steels, but pay attention to the weight-sometimes it can be deceiving for the size(heavier than you'd expect). Make sure you let us know which way you go. Also that pocket sheath Pert. has up comes in different sizes, Ksf among others carries them. All the makers have dealer pages on their respective homesites and it really is to your benefit to check them out, I've seen $40+ differences for the exact same knife, depending on who you get it from-except for Childress. His prices are always lowest here on the exchange,AFAIK.
Thanks, Neal
Ps went on for awhile there didn't I?🙂

I have a Lon Humphrey's Whitetail that carries in the front pocket well. It rides in a KSF Allegheny Pocket sheath. It is a great knife. I also must recommend Hess knives, Battle Horse Knives and L. T. Wright.
You won't be disappointed

I want a Scandinavian grind knife after seeing how wranglerstar a YouTube has something similar seem like a great woodsman knife can anyone recommend me something similar

Usually puukkos on the exchange here; all Bark Rivers are convex ground, some with the full Scandinavian grind: the Scandinavian model, the Aurora, others; L T Wright offers scandi grinds as well as full flat, and saber; Battle horse knives will let you choose; and tons of makers will work with you on what grind you want. Look around KSF, they have lotsa options, so do other dealers, USA blade jumps to mind, very good photography both sites and excellent customer service that will help you find what you want. GEC just released some limited run H10s that might fit your bill.
Thanks, Neal
