Looking at a new fixed blade.

KSF and DLT are doing preorders on the Bark River Classic Drop Point Hunter in S45VN and Magnacut. Gorgeous Loveless design with scales, liners, and pins of your choosing. Not sure how long the lead time is, but that’s where my next fixed blade is coming from.
I ordered a Classic Drop Point Hunter on March 8th. I got a shipping confirmation yesterday.
S45VN, Ivory G10 with red liners. I am very happy to be getting this classic design. I would love to have an actual Loveless, but I am not going to spend $2000.00+ for one of them.

Edited to ask: Did you ever buy a Classic Drop Point Hunter?

BRT Bladeworks, Ben Tendick, makes some beautiful stuff in that range and his blades are really nice, some heavy Japanese influence on some of his stuff but not all.

Take a look at Dan Tope knives. They are limited run. There are some available over at DLT. Pretty sure they are made by Bark River. I have a couple. Mine where made by Dan.

Top 2 and 4th down.

Winkler knives. Belt knife or blue ridge hunter. Both look the same but the belt knife is 9" total length and the blue ridge is 8". Their sheaths are also top notch!! And while they may not increase in value (or maybe they will), when I do see them for sale they are usually right around the same price so they sure aren't declining in value. Also the maple handle is beautiful.

Any other suggestions?
I really don’t want a regular production knife but on the other hand I don’t like to wait once I make my mind up to get something I get impatient lol.
Is there any currant knives that you would say is worth buying as a collector that might increase in value ?
I have looked and see some that I like but I’d rather spend some coin on something that will be worth it and not just another knife in ten years.
I would reach out to David Mary, he's a top notch guy with great products and reasonable prices.
