looking at my first spyderco buy

good news, i'm gettting another caly 3 on thursday
bad news, the first one was left at my doorstep by ONTRAC deliveries and stolen before i got home form work

bastards. i'm going to set up a trap tomorrow and see if i can catch the person in the act, then proceed to knock his ass out.
 
after the first caly 3 was stolen, the replacement has finally come. love this little blade. came ridiculously sharp out of the box, but there are some weird type of smudges or water marks on the handle. My first time with a CF handle, absolutely loving it. Can't wait to put it to use, and definitely looking forward to a salt or caspian2 next.

Congrats on the Caly3 (finally). Looks like a great knife.

I'd still say take a look at the G-10 Dragonfly. I just gave one to my girlfriend (I already own one in FRN), and it's an outstanding utility/general purpose daily carry piece. Yes, it's on the smaller side, but it definitely gets the job done.
 
thanks :D loving it so far. next on my list is still the caspian 2, salt, and g-10 dragonfly.

I used to be one of those people who saw the spydercos and thought they were just hella ugly. But after coming to these forums, and getting the caly3, i'm startign to turn :P there are still some i think are ugly, but the knife feels great :D
