looking for 5160 steel

It is almost impossible to find 5160 in thicknesses less then 1/4". However in the past, Alabama Damascus has had some in those thicknesses. Here is a link to their 5160 bar stock.

Get a piece of 1/4" and grind it thinner.

Kelly Cupples out of WA has good supply of 5160 however I think all his stuff is in 1/4 thickness. octihunter@charter.net
