Looking for a 10" long, 1/4" thick, drop point, recurved chopping beast

I have the Kabar Cutlass Machete pictured above. It does okay. Been using the Condor Kumunga (10" blade) lately as my more beastly chopper. The Kumunga is a simple straight blade.

Look at the oxe 10.5" camp knife by Stout Gear knives. Made of CPM S35VN steel and is .25" thick with G10 handles. Around $299.00 plus shipping. I have several great knives

Take a gander at Guineau hog forge by E. Scott McGee. Some wickedlycool looking blades.

Details/specs on this blade, please!

The SP8 is 10" long and .25" thick. Very good chopping blade, almost like a hatchet. Not a re-curve though. The Ontario Kukri Machete is .25" thick. The Ontario RD9 is 9" of .25" thickness.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Kershaw Camp 10, have not seen a review that mentioned any issues with the sheath dulling the blade.

For what it's worth, of all the blades I've played with or looked into, I have not found one that would perform better than the Ka-Bar BK9 without jumping up to a Junglas or something even larger.

Got my big chopper and boy does it chop! I bought this Outcast from another member and it's been excellent thus far. I love the blade shape and the D2 holds an edge like crazy. The handle us extremely comfortable and it's got the best factory sheath I've ever seen in a knife this large.

Yep, the Outcast is an excellent chopper for the money and far more robust than some people give it credit for.

If you are set on a recurve chopper, nothing comes close to a kukri. And while it's not a recurve, the Kabar Grass Machete is a nice chopper.
