Looking for a automatic watch with an automatic compass.

Not auto, but timex makes the analog intelliquartz with compass needle. Maratac outsourced a version a few years ago.

I have a very accurate digital g shock timex, the compass feature accounts for declination.

Terra Cielo Mare Orienteering (as seen on World War Z)

Two steps:

1. In the northern hemisphere, just point the hour hand at the sun.

2. Split the difference between the 12 o'clock marker and the hour hand ---- that's SOUTH.

No reason for a fancy north setting bezel that indicates nothing of value as soon as you move, twist, turn your body in relation to the sun. That gizmo is a solution in search of a problem.

IWC used to make a watch with a compass beneath the swing up movement, like the Victorinox shown. It is expensive though, almost $5000 used. It is a Porsche design.

I bought a Field and Stream watch from a pawn shop for $35., it's water resistant to 100 feet, has a Japanese movement and if you flick it open it has a compass with grids so you can overlay it on a map. I wear it everyday. While mine is an older one, I have seen some new ones on Ebay. Can't vouch for those, but if you find an older one, made in the 60's/70's, you could have a neat watch. Oh, and it keeps darned good time, too. Just google them.
