I hear mainly good things about KC. 99% of the people who order their stuff walk away happy and satisfied. Out of 20 reviews I read on their Japanese and Filipino swords, only one was bad and that was just because of a heat treating goof that happened. He sent it back and got a replacement and everything worked out. I think you'll be happy with their work.
Hello,
Check out the military antiques forum/antique edged weopons forum on Kelly's question and answer bulliten board. Look for a posting by 3dale3..he found what you may be looking for in his attic!
Atlanta cutleries barong is garbage. I bought one way back when, and after a couple of light swings in the air it became loose in the hilt. It is also amazingly heavy. I have three antique barongs, and well on the scales Atlanta Cutlries barong is still heavier than all three antiques combined. Kris Cutleries production stuff is good, but it still is possible to get good antiques for near the same price. Try www.eriksedge.com I believe he still has one lower priced antique barong available.
