Looking for a bigger contact wheel.

I have one....not for sale though....it works great on bowies and wider knives where I still want a hollow grind.....but usually I flat grind the real wide blades.........I got mine from Bader Co.

MSC has a 14" wheel for about 150 buck.

That MSC price sounded too good to be true. I just checked the 2001/2002 book.....they are the quickchange type....the 14" hubs are $142....then you need to buy a tire for about $160...for a grand total of about $300 for the complete set.

I was lucky enough to find one from a fire sale. The rubber was burned off. I had it trued on a lathe and had new rubber put on at Steven Bader Co. They charged $134. Well worth it IMHO. They even balanced it to 3600rpm

I have 2 14 inch wheels. One is Chicago and one is Bader.
The bader is better! Runs true and balanced well!
