Olamic, Bradford G3 flipper, Reate, WE, or Kizer. You won't be disappointed with any of those!
My number one choice would easily be searching the for sale area here, or post a Want to buy post, for a Ferrum Forge model that used a CPM 20CV(M390 equivalent). They are fantastic EDC knives! Or maybe one of their upcoming models will be close enough to your price point.
Thats a good point. m390 is not going to be exactly the same as 20cv and 204p but they are essentially the same, in the fact many people wouldnt know the differences between them. OP you could also include 20cv and 204p in your search.

I like viper knives. I had a kyoimi and it was very nice
ive found that viper knives have iffy quality control. if you get a good one, they are generally pretty good.

Bradford Knives Guardian3 Flipper G3F

I'm not trying to thread jack, but I'm curious about Bradford's flipper. I just ordered a Guardian 3 yesterday in N690 to try out, and in the process I ran across that little devil. It looks neat.

My suggestions would be Reate (Horizon, Torrent etc.), maybe an XM18 3.5 in m390 (choilless model), WE has a few nice models right now too

I would not be opposed to some of the equivalent blade steels but really don't want anything over 3.5" Max

Bladerunner-

Your initial choice of the Rike 1503 is an excellent one and it fits every one of your criteria. The handle texturing is just right- not too aggressive and it offers an excellent feel & grip. I really like this knife and own several of them.

In the Ti framelock portion of my collection, I also have the WE 601, 615 & 702 (My favorite of all) as well as the Reate/Mah Tempest & Warrior. All are quality knives with their own individual handle feel, balance, blade profile and overall different strengths & attributes.

The current quality of virtually all of the Tier 1 production knife companies (American & Chinese) is excellent and you would be happy with any of them. Just choose what feels & looks good to you.

I went with blade lengths of 2.9" to 3.6", M390 steel, titanium frame lock (with steel lock bar insert) and bearings flipper. You'd have more choices if you include CTS-204P and CPM-20CV steels which are similar to M390.

Including CTS-204P and CPM-20CV:
  • Reate Epoch
  • Reate Fallout
  • ZT 0456 & 0456BW
  • ZT 0392BLK

Ti frame lock? Ball bearing flipper? Great knife but not at all along the requirements of the OP.

I hear a lot of good things about that 247. I'm sure owners of said knife will be a long shortly to comment.
Agree that the Ritter Grip doesn't t conform to the op s list of features. But with a better lock, more grip of the handles, light weight, great heat treatment and grind of the blade, and best value of any Benchmade currently, this may still be the best suggestion of the entire thread. And in the first response!

I agree Ritter grip is a great knife and Axis lock is fun to play with and reliable. However, it does not conform to what the OP is looking for, and [Axis lock as] "a better lock" [than framelock] is completely a personal opnion not a proven fact.

I have the Olamic 247 and the Viper Fortis. Both are excellent.

I also have the Lionsteel TRE G10 which is pretty good. A bit small for you, though.

My vote is for the Olamic 247. Have carried it every single day since I got it and it's amazing.
