Looking for a budget Kershaw

Nice call calvin on the cryo. I was gonna add that in my post, but it isn't out yet so didn't add it in there. Not sure how soon the OP needs the knife. You can find the drone almost anywhere. I think there was a maj. retailer with kershaws on sale [not sure if it was significant, or just a plain "all the time sale" type of thing, I would have to look in my mail]. The blur definitely is a good way to go, and if your unsure about buying blems, I would look into emailing kershawguy about your concerns, and whether or not he can tell you what he can see re: a particular knife. You can search for him, he has a link in his sig to the list of stuff he has. Highly recommended, a great guy to deal with :p

Tanto's def. are nice, I would check those out [cryo, RJ, brawler, and a few others that was listed]. If not remember to always check YT for some reviews too :p. Kershaw has many great knives + huge selection, so if don't like a particular blade shape etc [eg the Leek for you], then I would hold off on getting it until you can feel it/get it in hand first. But until then, my advice would just be to look for one that does strike your fancy the most. The crappiest deal is when you buy something because its supposed to be X, but it doesn't feel right to you AND you didn't like a particular detail of the knife.

I'm getting a select fire as my new EDC. I think the knife is okay (not speed safe), but the bit set is nice, and I already have a T Tool, so I'l probably put those in there so I have it all (hoping they fit).

Seems like a good choice. I saw a blue one at wally world the other day. I don't know if you like blue though.

i have the blue selectfire pretty cool knife got it for christmas 10 bucks at wally world kinda heavy!

Another vote for the Clash. Especially if you want a speed safe. I bought mine locally for $25 plus tax and couldn't be happier. The Crown is another great buy but it will exceed your blade length requirement. Still at $10-$15 brand new it's hard to beat.
