    Also, if you want to try something with a ResC (rubberized handle) there is a nice DS6 (dog soldier) in INFI on the exchange right now.

    BATAC if you're okay with a 5" blade.

    I think they were made in SR101 (my preference) as well.

    I am not one to discourage anyone from buying and ASH but the BATAC is also worth close consideration. It's what took to Africa with me.

    NFNO - nice compact, but hefty blade. And it wont be big issue to pick one of them right now :thumbsup:

    I would not use SR101 in that area. Rust will be an issue. Rough country. I did about 3 years up there. You on the right track with INFI.
