I am wanting to get my first portable gas stove. The intended use will be for tailgating and taking my wife and children camping.
I found this stove that was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE but now has a good sale price. I have read where the stove cooks too high though.DLT Trading Company
How about Coleman?

Get the Coleman dual fuel version. They work great and you have fuel flexibility. The Colemans have easy repairability and maintenance, and good parts availability as well.

All at roughly 1/4 - 1/3 the price.

I've got a Coleman 2 burner, it's old, but looks brand new. It works on unleaded fuel. Thing had coleman white gas in it for almost 10 years (oops) and fired right up today and I used it to make char cloth. And, it started up like it was brand new. That's just my .02

Is using unleaded fuel safe? It doesn't contaminate the food or make the food taste like fuel?

colman all the way, easy to fix lasts a long time, i dont know anyone that has worn one out, can even be converted to propane if you want easily.

don't use gas in 'em even if they're dual fuel. it's dirty and noxious to cook on. use coleman fuel. it's smart.

Coleman x5. Easy to use for big functions. Don't spend $631 on something you probably would use less than a rifle :)

2 burner coleman in white gas. Reliable and affordable. Only use proper fuel or you will gum up the lines and jets. Have used them for 30 yrs

The Canadian Rangers here in the North on military arctic expeditions carry them.

I have a 1947 Coleman I inherited from a very elderly uncle. Still works fine.

My two burner Coleman was new in 1965-has been repainted a couple of times and still works fine. I found a propane adapter on sale and now can run on Coleman fuel or propane. My one burner was new in 1980 and still works perfectly. Ditto for my lanterns that were new in 1965.

In the dual fuel stove unleaded fuel will burn fine. No real danger of contamination etc. AS LONG AS YOU USE IT OUTDOORS WITH PLENTY OF VENTILATION!!!!!

I have one of the single burner dual fuel stoves and it works fine after several years of daily use.

....ventilation is the key. I have found no food contamination using unleaded fuel.

Car camping? Buy a cheapo stove. Coleman is fine. The one you linked isn't at all a reasonable price.
