Looking for a Canoe

That is a real looker. You stole it.
Actually my wife bought it and I stole it from her :D:thumbsup: Honestly though, if you see me post a nice shiny knife... odds are I didn't buy it, she did ;) I think I may have purchased 5 or 6 knives that are newer than 1980 LoL. So in this thread, my favorite canoe was the black Case that @Ernie1980 posted  I've been looking for one of those :)

Comes as no surprise to me my friend. I follow the "Old Knives" thread and as far as I'm concerned you are one of the heavy weights. The old ones are my first choice as well but I found out pretty quick they are an addiction above my pay grade. Just one more reason to appreciate them. :)

My Rough Rider Ram's Horn Canoe arrived today. Delivered Friday, to the wrong house; my neighbor brought it by today. I opened the package with a lot of excitement (new knife!) and a bit of trepidation (cheap knife.) It turns out no anxiety was warranted. A very nice piece, IMO. I can't find any gaps or flaws in the fit or finish. Opens and closes smoothly, with a good snap. (Walk and talk, right?) Blades are hollow ground and sharp. The scales look great. No idea, yet, on how long the blades will hold an edge, or whether it will loosen and come apart. But so far, I am very pleased with my new knife. Looking forward to carrying it in my pocket, and cutting stuff with it. I'll post a picture, as soon as i figure out how. Thanks for all the help and kind words!

Good to hear that you like it and yes, Walk and Talk is the correct term. I have a RR Canoe that I've owned for maybe 8 or 9 years but I've never used it. I couldn't resist the price and it's a well made knife. I think you will like yours too. Maybe even enough that you won't need another brand.

Marbles Canoe with Ram Horn scales. My only Canoe.
