I have been searching the web for a small (approx. 6.5" - 7.5") dagger to that would be sheathed sideways on the belt.

Does anyone have any links for such a knife?

You are talking about an overall length right? Because a 7.5 inch blade would be rather hard to conceal anywhere. I haven't personally ever used or owned one, but you might look at the SOG Mini Pentagon. They're fixed blades seem to be of decent quality so long as you avoid the Fusion line.

http://www.valoisknives.com/ He makes nice buckle knives. The older Gerber Guardian models work well and are a regular knife. Personally, I'd find a knife you like and buy a custom sheath.

More expensively, Bob Dozier makes great knives with horizontal rigs.

Call Reese Weiland. He can make ANYTHING. 813-671-0661

Its not a dagger, but Spyderco makes a nice little SD knife called the "Streat Beat", designed by Fred Perrin, which has a seath that can be worn sideways on the belt:

Micarta scales, VG-10 blade, polymer sheath, and runs around $150 retail.

CRKT Sting isn't halfbad. Its double edge and can be put sideways on belt... technically its still a throwing knife. It just has crappy sheath though

Maybe something by Bud Nealy? Makes some nice small knives with a good sheath system.

Edited spam from post.

Check the ZT dagger. I've got 3 of these. Amazing concealment capability, plus an overall high end knife. You wont regret!

I've a fixed 6" blade, attached horizontally to the back of my belt, only needed a slight sheath modification. Takes 2 hands to blindly sheathe it quickly. To not alarm people its covered by my jacket or a sweatshirt tied around my waist.

I have an A G Russel Sting 3 and it is a nice looking dagger. 7.25" overall length. You'd need to make yourself, or contract out, a horizontal kydex sheath because the one included is vertical with a belt/boot clip.

edited to add that I didn't see how old this original post was. I'm sure you've found your dagger by now.

I apologize for not understanding your rules, and posting something that is considered advertising. Some forums are lenient due to our innovations, and our work with the FBI, counter terrorism units, etc…

It just bothers the heck out of me that people still are not aware of a special design organization that totally conceals edged weapons from 6-9 inch daggers and swords 1.5 inches wide that are as large as 33-inches in length. The sword blades are laminated with a process called Molecular Adhesion – never before done. The laminated blades float upon one another at the molecular level.

The organization in question designs, and manufactures these concealed weapons for elite law enforcement and US Special Operations. Yes; these full sized swords are being used in modern warfare in the Middle East by US Military. So to conceal a 9” dagger is child’s play.

All edged weapons must be instantly assessable; with sub-second deployment under stress. If an operator wishes; two full size daggers may be deployed instantly and simultaneously into both hands. (There are specialty daggers that have a forward and reverse grip at the same time)

I will never again mention the name of a company or link! Just wanted to know; it is unauthorized to leave your real name, as it could it could be submitted to Google?

Very respectfully, Curtis W. Koehler

P.S. My background is polygraph examinations and interrogation techniques. (And yes from what I have read – enhanced interrogation is very effective)
