Looking for a cool pen

I have both the Retro 51 carbon fibre and Rotring 600. Both are good pens that will give years of service. But be aware that the shiny metal pens of any brand may be too slippery when your hands are sweating. The carbon fibre and the black 600 are Ok to hold in all circumstances.

Here's a few other of my pens. Left to right: Fred Perrin Defensive Pen, Bic Steel, Rotring 600, and my fave, the Mil-Tac SDP-1:

I like the looks of the Rotring 600, but I tried one at a local Paradise Pen shop and found the cap rattled when it was attached to the back of the pen. Anyone else have this experience?

My 600 has this. After about 10 months of carrying and using it, the cap got so loose it wouldn't even cap the pen without falling off. I bent the cap in a bit in a couple places to give it a tighter fit, but it's not an elegant solution. If they gave the 600 a threaded cap like on fountain pens, it'd be my perfect writing utensil.

The 600 also comes in a ballpoint with the clicky bit, but I don't know if that has similar problems of its own.
