That is a modeling clay reproduction.(or something like clay, anyway). There is a WIP for it if you do a search. The maker calls it "faux forged"... no metal at all. I love this kind of thing but steel would trump all, IMO. The blades from Avatar(the giant Smurf movie) have always begged to be brought to reality, too. I think it's cool when objects in a film/game/anime or novel take on a fanbase of their own.
