looking for a decent beltsander

Hi everyone. I was asked by a friend of mine who is a Japanese ,(so am I) to find a decent belt sander from Burr king under 3000 dollars including shipping. He said he wanted a 960 model with variable controller but could not find it anywhere in that price I was told. Can anybody recomend us any good Burr king sander other than the 960? I have no knowledge about knife making,so I need help. thank you

If he specified that model, then that's what he wants
However I like the toolbar grinders that you can change attachments quickly



Did he mention attachments ?
Flat platen
Small wheel attachment and wheels
other wheel sizes
and so on.


Before dropping $, have him consider other machines and the attachments

By all accounts the Burr King is a bomb-proof grinder. That said there are a lot of options with more flexibility for less money.
