The ones I saw a few days ago were called center open, may go by both names.

i have never even once heard the term "center open" and i collect out the front autos, the correct term is "out the front" i can assure you, whoever told ya center open does not know WTF.

I've learn to always check those dates...or curse myself and the thread reanimator when I don't.

I got to handle a Bob Dozier Thorn at the knife show, and it's a pretty cool design that's perfectly symmetrical open and closed, with both edges sharpened. Ka-Bar has a production version of it for about $60, in D2.
