I`m looking for a drillpress, used is fine, nothing too big or heavy duty, just something to make holes in thin barstock and kydex.I have some cool knives to trade.

sorry to hijack the thread....but if you just want to make simple holes (and don't need accuracy) you can get a cheap-o drill press from Harbor Freight. Sometimes as low as $40.

Sorry for hijacking the hijak
That's where i got mine 3 years ago, works great and even did some heavy drilling with it, accurate enough to make liners. :D :D

Thanks Daniel,it`s a great site. You can also buy almost anything on ebay these days, but I have too many knives, maybe someone will trade for a beat-up drillpress.I dabble in knife and sheath making and never plan to compete with pro knifemakers,so I don`t need anything fancy::))

I'd just go for buying one locally. Shippings going to be a pain. They are usually mostly cast iron, and the head is an especially heavy Mo'F***er.

Lowes 10" 5 speed Delta. $100 - that's what I got. ;)

there are free shipping coupons in the catalogs they send (usually).

I understand you wanna unload.....if I was in the market for a mill, I'd send you mine. But....gotta make some money first.....:D
