Looking for a fixed blade from 4 in. - 6 in. and less than $150

There are so many great blades to choose from today it could make ya crazy. But thats half the fun. I would go for one of the military type blades. As mentioned already in this post : a trench knife, ka-bar, pilot survival type blade.They fit in your price range. I have carried a M-3 trench knife for 30+ years both in the army and working else where. Its worked for me all over the world. But i'm abit old school and like to keep it simple.

I don't personally buy knives strictly for SD,but if I did it would be a double edged dagger,min.5" blade like the Applegate-Fairbairn or Kershaw's Trooper.Both are a little pricey.The Boker Escrima fighting knife comes to mind though.I think it's under $75 off the top of my head.I may be wrong.Good luck
